One can dream
...by a very strong finals series. His season average player rating is 6.81. Cats gave up Cooper Stephens + a pick that ended up at 28(JakobRyan) in the 2022 draft to get Henry. Releasing Stephens won't embarass the Cats as he has just been delisted by the Hawks. Back to Henry, his finals...
If we get Perryman and promised midfield minutes and Ed Allan continues to improve Jack Crisp is another option to spend some time at Half Back, he started his career there
You don't want to see if any of the following can do it:
Harry Demattia
Tew Jiath
JakobRyan
Wil Parker
Potentially Luke Quaynor (if he's drafted)
Plus Markov
Wow, I was looking up whose birthday it was today and there’s quite a few AFL players.
Happy belated birthday to the following;
Taylor Adams, Darcy Byrne-Jones, Odin Jones, Jake Lloyd, Brayden Maynard, JakobRyan, Zac Williams
...(25), Kennedy (27)
Collingwood - Richards (24), Noble (27) and Kreuger (25)
Which team would raise more draft capital?
Originally I had JakobRyan but replaced with Kreuger.
I guess the main difference is we don't want Richards and Noble to leave.
However, if the end game is draft...
...Petrevski Seton... But as seen with SPS... That's really not much use to anyone when every team is trying to speed up their ball movement.
Overall pretty happy with that draft though. Never understood the JakobRyan interest though... Just never rated him and still don't. Much happier with...
Dekka clearly wasn't a good list manager.
But here's my view of what has occured in terms of recruiting.
Took over the reins in about 2004. We recruited a team that won the flag in 2010 and looked capable of a very strong stint at the top. Non-recruiting off field issues resulted in that team...
...be one of the most successful recruiters in the league. Finn is a star, Reef is a star. I think all pie members are well satisfied with jakobryan and harry demattia. Obviously I cant question derek's astute choice of nick daicos as a first rounder. Well done Derek. We are more than ready for...
I don't actually mind this suggestion as he's a marginal upgrade on Frampton. I definitely prefer it to all the chatter about Mark Keane.
I think the most pressing concern defensively is a replacement for Howe though. As I see it we have JakobRyan but his development has been hampered by injuries.
Richards isn't going to port for pick 70 which is a free to good home charity pick. He is not a charity case, it will be your pick 37 minimum. Every club is interested including us to re-sign him so he is worth a decent pick.
We have the future 1st (could be pick 5-15), a pick for Noble...
...be a teens pick on adding Dan, and steak knives. Richard’s doesn’t move the needle, we are picking him up for pick 70. Apparently we have interest in JakobRyan but a 5d on debut flanker doesn’t move the needle either.
They need to add a top 12 pick, and they’re not getting one from anywhere.
Houston would be a good get.
If we can mix Joe Richards in the trade that would work well. Give them JakobRyan and throw in the second rounder we get for Noble.
I can see why Carlton want him as apart from Saad they lack quality ball users off half back.
...more chances next year. Last year's first-round pick Harry DeMattia is yet to debut but was close in the final fortnight. Tew Jiath and JakobRyan have had one opportunity each and will be after more in 2025.
The 2018 All-Australian hasn't played in the VFL since his debut season in 2009...
