Then we did it a week later against GWS. But in the end, I think you're right as IMO it helped get us over the line against the bombers in the Dreamtime game.
My intention was not to play if games. kranky al suggested a few away wins this season combined with our wins at the MCG would see us finish close to top 2. I just tried to show how close we were to finishing first this year. But yeh, it's all ifs.
If the Pies didn't crap themselves in that drawn game at the G, the whole finals series for the top 4 changes. Cats 1st, Tigers 2nd, GWS 3rd, Crows 4th. The improvement required based on last years ladder positions, isn't that much. We'll wait and see I guess.
You're clearly confusing us Richmond supporters with people that give a crap. We simply do not care what you are anyone else thinks of the quality of our PREMIERSHIP.
I cannot recall too many mutterings about the Cats having to play home finals at the G last year, and in those previous years, even when you lost to Freo. Seemed to be a considerable uproar this year though. Coincidence?
Just out of interest, was there the same issue with the AFL scheduling your 'home' final against the Hawks at the G last year? A game in which you won by 2 points after Smith missed the shot after the siren?
What about in 2012 when you had to play your 'home' final against Freo at the G, and...
Firstly, I'd be disgusted if any of our players went down this line of sledging. Secondly, pretty much shows your mental immaturity that you even thought of this thread, and then actually posted it.
IMO it's the right decision for the club releasing the older blokes. As to whether Scott is the right coach to capitalise is another question. I think most have their doubts, but after a couple of PF and now a third finals series in a row, he's probably earned the right to have a crack.
Disagree. The Eagles dropped three EF's in a row then went on to make the next two GFs. It would be very disappointing, but not necessary to sack the coach.
If the AFL step in, you just feel North will manipulate positions of players, or the players themselves might only go at half speed. Either way North will get the result they want, and that is to play in Vic.
Once West Coast build their new stadium, the rest of us will be more or less mediocre in comparison. No mater the revenue, crowd size, assets etc of the other clubs. West Coast will become massive.
