Nope. It is correct. The only thing false is the thread's title.




I didn't say a rebuild was forced on us, I said the circumstance in which entailed us to three draft picks in 2020 was forced upon us. Those three picks landed in our lap due to one off-season's departures and mind you, were on the table for a players like Dunkley. We had our picks, yes, but it wasn't off the back of trading players away to begin a rebuild nor start one.


You also forgot the part where I said that rebuilds aren't adjudicated as a failure within 24 months, seeing as we sacked Rutten for obvious reasons at the end of 2022. Even if 2020 was a rebuild, which it wasn't, rebuilds don't last 2 years.


From 2023 onwards we've gone onto a deliberate rebuild and we've stuck to it.
