The important word in your post was Hawks.
In somebody's addled excuse for a mind, that adds up to an extra tie-in with Hawthorn in Launceston; and maybe an extra chance at being seen with AFL "names" more often. The head honchos at AFL Tas do really seem to be both that stupid and that egotistic.

There is no gaurantee though that AFL Tas would want to see a new club named "HAWKS" As with the new licence in Hobart the new name is likely to be something totally new and different. With Different colours as well. Can't see them accepting the idea expressed in yesterdays paper, SOUTH Prospect Bulldogs, with a terrible colour combination

You would think he's more than a fair chance of being re-drafted. That will make the job for Prospect all the harder.
