Seriously impressed with how he operates. A fantastic way to keep members informed and knowing that something is genuinely being done behind the scenes.

I don't think what allegedly happened to get us to 50k is related to this most recent achievement.I'm not entirely sure all those memberships are legit. There was no way we were going to miss that target, just like we conveniently got over 50k two years ago.
Ask Eddie, he has been spruiking about being the President of the biggest sporting club in Australia for years, based on some very flexible membership numbers.I'm not sure I get the reason for non-legit memberships. How much is Trigg or the club really gaining by fluffing the numbers up?

I think there are a lot of bandwagoners and sheeple out there (don't see why we wouldn't have our fair share) - possibly appealing to the 'everyone else is doing it' mentality. If they think it's becoming popular/they can be part of the resurgence in memberships, that might be the deciding factor. Of course those that are a bit more stubborn or uninterested won't be convinced by this at all. Some people only want to be on board when we are doing well and the club is trying to tell those people we are doing well. Whether you or I agree with that is a separate issue.Yeah, I realise there might be some degree of creativity at work in other clubs number tallies, I just don't see what we have to gain ourselves. The unsigned members are clearly there, the energy should be going towards signing them, rather than making it up.
So, the Hawthorn method you meanWe should have one game packages for ant's, and every other animal, watch our membership soar to billions.

Except lions, kangaroos, cats, bulldogs, crows, eagles, swans, magpies, tigers and hawks.

tl;dr

Better late than never
- Commenced the build of a list management database (the platform for which comes from the Boston Redsox) and an accompanying 'analytics program'. This program will allow us to store better information, benchmark and value players (our own and others), link it all to vision, and generally help us to make better and more informed decisions.
We might have been lucky to get one letter a year from Swann... usually about the time when he was trying to get us to renew our memberships. This is the second letter this year from Trigg?Agree SV and he is being very open about it as well.
Really loving the communication to Members.
It was never like this when Swann was CEO.
It'd be an easy way of getting the 'rich' benefactors to put money into the club without making look as if they are trying to buy influence.I'm not sure I get the reason for non-legit memberships. How much is Trigg or the club really gaining by fluffing the numbers up?
