Ryan Harris Retires

That day where his knees are just too buggered has sadly come a couple of months early. This was always going to be his final series so its so damn dissapointing that he isn't able to get out there.

All the best Harris, have been my favourite of the recent fast bowling cartel. Englands chances just got a hell of a lot better.

Huge loss. Champion bloke and an exceptional bowler. The upcoming Ashes Series as a whole is poorer without a fully fit Ryan Harris steaming in.

Really spewing about this news. :(

Also WTF picking Pat Cummins for an Ashes tour after not playing First-Class cricket for 2 years. :drunk:

Big news here. Was always going to be his last series but a warrior and lion hearted bowler who would swing the ball in and out and was no mug with the willow. Top guy off the field as well as on it.

Enjoy your retirement Big Rhino even though you're retiring with severe damage to your knees.

I still maintain that he'd have at least 300 test wickets if not for the knees, even with him spending the first half of his twenties not getting near the national side

Could have been something super special, and still was really

For England, this would be like Ji...Stu...wait...

...honestly, none of their players come close to a rampaging Rhino at his best. Hope Anderson enjoys his English 'records'. We all know that Harris kicks his ass all over the shop twenty times over.

Going to miss the champion.

Ryan Harris was also about 27 before he had a good FC season, which makes it a bit hard to compare his career to the typical good test bowler.
