Brisbane - Mance Rayder - used to rule the people from the north
Carlton - Theon Greyjoy - tried to play games, lost their manhood and been reek ever since
Collingwood - Fleabottom - we have recently heard a lot of noise from their high sparrow
Essendon - Margaery Tyrrell - even the popular ones can end up in the cells
Freo - Brienne - ugly but effective
Geelong - Sandor Clegane - even the unbeatable can be felled eventually
Gold Coast - the wildlings - the men from the north are a rabble
GWS - Tyrion Lannister - finding success through a gifted childhood
Hawthorn - Daenyerys - generated a lot of support very quickly - will it last?
Melbourne - House Targaryen - used to be important
North - the Starks - relevant for a while - now scattered and not significant, have a soft spot for them
Port - men of the Iron Islands - from out west, tough as old boots, disappear for long periods at a time
Richmond - the Tyrells - a lot of support but a bit soft, think they are more important than they really are
St Kilda - the people from Dorne - they just fight and heck
Sydney - the Boltons - ever since Roos(e) took over they have been coldly flaying everyone
West Coast - Littlefinger - always able to find more gold.
Western Bulldogs - Hodor - they could use him at full forward
Fitzroy - Ned Stark - nice guys, been gone a while, though everyone still talks about them

The reason they are diverging is that GRRM takes anywhere between 5 and 7 years to write a book, he's 60+ and in poor health, and the TV show can't wait for him to finish books 6 (only half-way written) and 7 because of all the young actors. So he's given the TV producers "plot points" to use when writing the rest of the series. And he's said that those plot points are different to those which the books will follow.

In fact, throughout and at the end of Book 5 there is a major plot development which is absolutely fundamental to making sense of the whole story from Book 1 onwards, and which the TV show can't possibly replicate because a key character is simply completely missing from the TV show. Read the Books if you'd like to know more.

The books are nothing now, TV ratings mean a whole lot more. Untill I see Jon Snow being burnt, his head on a spike, drawn and quartered or buried he's not really dead. It also makes the part of Melisandre irrelevant and she's on for season six also! Kit Harrington could not continue his career if he had this hanging over his shoulders, he would be driven mad by the questioning. No, i believe it's a ploy to create mystery, conversation, new theories, and intrigue. Just wait until Cersai goes berserk in season six! Without Jon Snow the nights watch will be like the Essendon football club, in total disaray!

Another theory is that Jon Snow wargs into Ghost before he dies, just like the wildling warg transferred his consciousness into his eagle.

Not bad except Jon Snow at Adelaide could be off the mark considering he will be disclosed as a Targaryen in season 7 after the Red witch resurrects him and he is the key to the whole thing. I'll put Jon Snow at the Hawks, he's been stabbed a few times, but he'll come back.
I'll place Daenery's at Fremantle, the threat from the other side of the world with Fyfe being (Drogon)
Essendon may very well have a scheming Cersai in their midst's, but i reckon Littlefinger has been doing some shifty business up there.
Richmond : Jamie Lannister the Kingslayer who has had his hand chopped off...
