Sign Darcy up for another 4 years now.
The fact that he had mode disposals than most of our mids says it all.

We were always going the uber flood and had Port been straight in that first quarter I doubt the umpires poor display would even make a mention.

The biggest issue for me is that when they were on the ropes injury wise we didn't have an answer. And they still managed more shots at goal in the last quarter.

Sh*t effort from our forwards- just played soft. NWM been playing soft for a few weeks now, and Steele and Ross looked like old country footy players tonight. Wilson was super impressive, but man, Dougal is a liability and Pou is way off. Owens keeps disappearing for large chunks of the game and it looks like Membrey can't hold an overhead mark anymore. Cordy did ok, and Sincs in bursts, but gawd what a mess. Looks like Lyon's game has been sorted by the opposition.

This is true. Just can’t wait for the holy dogooders to start preaching how the umpires had nothing to do with it though.
Even the commentators talked about it continuously and even asked for historical stats re home team advantage.

The AFL don’t care though. It’s the same in Perth. Absolute joke. Be better having the VFL again and all the best players just coming to Victoria...

Wilson was sensational at the end.

It was there for the taking and Horne-Francis stood up for them. Bloody disappointing but at least it wasn't the flogging we were expecting.

Needed more composure at the end. Our skills for most of the game were poor, but we never gave in.

Our forwards need to contest more. We allow too many marks in our 50.

Really feels like an opportunity lost.

Agree man, the adjudicating of the game, the way everything is going now is just putrid. It feels to me like a lot of people are only still following the game for lack of alternatives and/or nothing better to do! The soul has been ripped out of our game, it's a basket case and a shadow of its former self.

Really looking like we pinched a finals spot, just fundamentaly average across 85% of the list.

Even the young bridage, outside of NWM really not sure they are A-grade talent. Wilson certainly showed alot tonight, kicking needs work. Windy tries but dump kicks often. Phillpou has elite hands in close and does nothing else even remotely good, attacks contests at 30%. Brynes also of the Windy mold, really tries but is just an average footballer.

Wikle and Sincs best on. Stocker was awful, Dougs is Dougs and we know that sucks.

Also, this gamestyle...its a poor watch each week. 2024 AFL you are nowhere kicking 10 goals a game. Jesus it's a tough existence as a Saints fan.
