Given Raynor wasn’t seen as being that far ahead at the time of the draft, I think Brisbane would have jumped at the chance to get to 20s picks that year. Maybe would have done it for 1 20s picks.

They have offered 6 and a future first for pick 4. Suggesting the gap isn’t massive.

I wonder if there would be a single neutral who would prefer McKercher and a couple of 20s picks over Reid.

Most people think it’s a big jump. Certainly big enough to warrant a couple of picks in the 20s.

They could have easily offered more. Eg like 2, 15 and 16. Would have been rejected but not sure why they didn’t rate Reid that highly.

Seems a bit odd that north never offered anything close to what Melbourne and hawthorn did? Do north just rate Reid far lower than WC, hawks and the dees?
