I am sure in part what you have asserted is true. The guy was not proclaiming he new the draft, rather with respect to Freo McCarthy was unlikely due to high levels of interest of clubs with earlier picks and there had been a lot of interest in acres. That's about it.

Brissie are very keen on him. As you guys have mentioned it does not seem to be a needs based selection, nor a best pick (if you go by the guys on the board). He will not get by our pick so I guess they may be prepared to reach and hope to get mids with their 20's picks.

Given they just picked up 2 kpf's in trade/zone pre-selection I'm not sure they need a 3rd as a 'reach' when they need all bases covered.

Chris thanks for your insight as always. You seem to have Marsh higher than others. His athletic capabilities sound amazing but my qu's relate to his marking ability and 2nd efforts. Can he be a hit-up target and does he have a defensive game? Cheers
