Jet is the kind of band that teenage girls listen to so they can add a little 'rock' into their Top 40/Nova FM diet. They remind me of when I first saw Spiderbait in 1992 or 1993 - just mundane, colorless pub rock that is too easily palatable and forgettable

Not bad I guess. From looking up this film on Wikipedia, it appears to be some wacky goofy comedy so it probably suits it well

Yeah, that's a good point.

I have found with some movies there may be a song I have little interest in but suits the part perfectly. On the other hand I don't think I've seen a film soundtracked by John Zorn or Glenn Branca but find that the music alone is great.
