Would it be fair to say Montmorency are an extremely nervous football club at the moment? Mont have beaten Northcote twice this year. However, Northcote look to have found some serious form and look to be very comfortable with their surrounds at Preston City Oval having won two finals to get to...
Back to football talk. Will Northcote get a double chance if they can beat Mont on the weekend. Will Bundoora win their next two games against Eltham and Montmorency? Eltham are playing for their lives. If they manage to upset Bundoora, their last game of the home and away will be against West...
Clearly don't have any involvement at club level. In the NFL, every ground/club has faults whether it be ground quality, parking, coaches box, changerooms, club rooms. It's suburban football, get over it.
Enjoy the comments from coast to coast of the NFL Div 1 league by yourself BUT!!
They Say - Northcotes big match under lights was the biggest crowd over the weekend by far....... and the largest numbers Westgarth Street has seen since the quad premiership days. I was there, the crowd was huge...
Northcote to take on South Barwon at Westgarth Street this saturday from 2pm. Should be a good hit-out considering South Barwon and Bell Park have been the premier clubs of the Geelong league for years now.
TEAMS CLIMBING THE LADDER in 2012
West Preston - the standout team to beat
Northcote Park - more depth and more consistancy
Eltham - surely have to have a better yr then last
TEAMS NOT MOVING
Bundoora - second best team in the comp
Macloed - painfully miss finals again
Greensborough -...
I think Bundoora FC would take out the Betstar Cup in the Grandfinal over Shepparton United. The big bodies of Bundoora would bulldoze the quick running, silky Shepparton United (GV Champs) on a smaller ground that exposes light framed country kids. Bundoora with the experienced heads of Cloke...
Eltham has a great atmoshere with all the lads on the hill. but it shouldnt host a GF there until they can get there ground up to a better standard. cramer street is still a better surface than eltham.
whats the preseason news thus far? who from heidelberg has gone to the country?
any departures from bundoora's premiership team last year? west preston added anything to their list?.....apparently have poached one of Northcote Parks senior players! anyone know who that was?
who could be a...
amen. find a way to better them, or be prepared to be second rate for many years to come. because thats what every other side in the O&M is at the moment.
I think Albury's two u16 sides both played off in the Junior League Grandfinal. Joss must be paying for there school fees!! I think you will be calling Albury tossers for quite a while.
you w***er.
everyone having a stab at AFC are just hacks. Albury is run by smart businessmen and families that live and breath tigerland. nothing to do with $$ and recruiting. Luke Carroll had a young team that drew with Wang (Premiers of 2008) in the last round of the 08 season before spargo came on board...
You find out more or less what player types you need after introducing structure, mentality and gameplan. its the players that do not have the ability or the mental capacity that gets found out - which you would then get rid of and replace if they are not playing their part in the coaches...
Time will tell my friend. I hope they make finals as they do give some of the top sides a shake. but from what I've heard, northcote ran rings around them on the weekend.
has anyone seen what the preston VFL ground looks like this year? is it in better nick than last year?
too big of a ground for bundoora, greensborough mont (if they get in). will suit tigers and west preston quite nicely.
The battle for the 5th spot. who will take it? will Mont sneak in? northcote hold on? is there a chance greensborough could lose be also fighting for 5th? next 3 rounds will be very interesting.
It's simple, when in doubt, put away the whistle. Nothing is better for a game of footy played at any level where 'play on' is the theme of the day. They are needed in this great game to officiate only when players breach the games rules in a contest. Not to disect the contest and look for...
