Hmm well I hope so, but might be a tough ask. Pessimist in me says that since a full strength Collingwood struggle against the Hawks, the depleted one will have no chance. Can't see the margin being below 60
Oh Bartel
At least Lewis admitted to it.
Also, Geelong have become so unlikeable this year. Previously liked players like Bartel getting involved in diving, ducking, playing for free kicks, having umps in the pocket, stealing games through dubious free kicks etc. Going out and...
Looking at the poll makes me shudder. Collingwood has the worst rivals in the AFL.
I look at Hawthorn vs Geelong and Port vs Adelaide. Then I look at what we are stuck with.
I picked Essendon. Even pre supplement saga. Their supporters are not only unbearable, but so is the club. I've always...
If it is on the eve of finals, then yes. It is however unlikely that it will be finalised by then. If they are allowed to participate, then they should be able to retain whatever they achieve from it IMO. No point of having them compete in the finals if they can't win anything. Of course it is...
Lol Hampson had the Tigers supporters excited in his first game. Even Jarrad 'potential' Waite had a day out yesterday so I wouldn't read too much into it.
Jobe has admitted to being 1 of the 34 players. If any of them were a certainty, it is Jobe. Personally, I think whatever Essendon and it's players achieved in 2012 and 2013 should be taken away from them if they receive infraction notices, and it includes Jobe's brownlow and Essendon's finals...
I think Collingwood being the biggest club still rattles the majority of the people. It's like Manchester United. No scandal will take them off top spot.
They should definitely take Jobe's brownlow away from him as it occurred throughout the time that the supplement program took place. Last year, they were punished by getting kicked out of the finals, which was good IMO. Not too sure about further club punishments now tbh. If they win a...
The problem is that the players have lost any will to win the premiership. I cannot see this group winning anymore.
The current crop are nowhere near as good as what we had. How will they fix their disposal efficiency to begin with?
It's a mess. Lucky not to lose 100+.
I was simply amazed...
They'll play based on current form and they should if they make it. There is no way the AFL could justify kicking them out again.
What will be interesting however is if they win the premiership. Could the AFL take it away from them if the players are suspended? Technically, they didn't breach...
Not really confident to be honest. Not in great form that is for sure and Essendon would have to be favourites.
If there was any game that Swan would keep his spot in the side, it is Vs Essendon. Although he has been pretty poor, he did carve Essendon up last game we played and does so on a...
I actually don't really hate Carlton, especially not over the other bunch. From what I have said, I don't think they know what it takes to build a premiership side. I'm not expecting either to win a premiership for the next 10+ years (if ASADA wipes Essendon), but Essendon may well be the first...
Mick ring a bell?
Chased Thomas while letting go Betts. If they offered Betts a little bit more cash, they would have retained him. I just think that Carlton screwed up in many aspects and don't know what it takes to build a team that is going to win a premiership in the modern era. I was able...
He is definitely top 3 for me. Is able to impact the game on his own as we have seen many times. He single handedly beat Port a few weeks ago.
He also kicked 4 goals versus Richmond while Rance did very well on him.
I would only have Gazza in front of him in terms of impacting a game.
They still have the likes of Heppell, Hooker, Carlisle, Hibberd, Zaharakis, Merrett, Daniher etc.
I'd say Essendon's KPP 25 and under are the best out of the lot.
Of the players you have mentioned, I think only Watson, Goddard and maybe Fletch are worth a mention. Winderlich has been injured...
Essendon easy to be honest (Taking out the ASADA factor). Have looked top 4 at stages in the last couple of years and have the best KPP out of the lot. Youngsters are also much better. If their playing list is not wiped out, I can see them challenging for top 4 next year.
Richmond would be next...
Hit the nail on the head, although I would argue that Essendon vs Hawthorn would draw more interest.
Essendon making the grand final would easily gather the most interest/excitement. Here is one of the biggest clubs and arguably the biggest villains, involved in the biggest scandal in the...
I really hope that Heidi or Ed leave (Hopefully someone puts him). Over the few weeks, Heidi and Ed have shown their true colours. Ed isn't really mister nice guy and Heidi is very two faced. Can't stand them both.
I was so annoyed that Caleb left instead. He seems genuinely nice
Surprisingly...
