let's look at the clubs:
T/M: no U16's, they turned up at Cohuna with 11 U18's, there other junior sides struggled. also hear they are looking to merge with anyone
Balranald: no U18's, very few people on the committee, have been uncompetitive for a few years now in most grades
Swan Hill: held a...
You are not down from 4 to 2 junior sides, by joining HDFNL you still have 12, 14 & 17 age groups which the CMFNL are going to next year anyway, HDFNL have 17's and 12/14 age groups go to the Campaspe Junior League. I think you'll find in the near future there will be a Swan Hill Junior League...
If this is true, let's go. I was going to send my kids to Leitchville when they are ready to play footy, as a family it is a much better way to travel. I wouldn't have thought Macorna would do alright if Cohuna go to HDFNL, unless they pay their juniors!!
There is a rotation system in place, some clubs one year get to request a final and the next year the other clubs get to request a final. The clubs put down in order of preference which final they want and luckily for Cohuna they got the one they put as preference #1, I believe Lalbert also got...
your right, Lalbert's pressure for the 1st half was excellent, unfourtunatley for them they could not sustain it for 4 quarters, the Kangas structure and fitness ran them into the ground, the margin would have been greater only for bad kicking at goal
why would that be directed at me?? i never said they were a champion team. maybe you need to go back thru the forum and direct this at whoever said it. but while i'm on here, to play so poorly and still win against a team who everybody beleives has a shot at winning the lot probably says that...
wasn't saying the money offered by other clubs was made up, was saying the money that people say Cohuna offered is nowhere near what people want to believe
ex
exactly the case, 5 ex team mates from Moama at Cohuna and gets along very well with the coach, $$$ involved but nowhere near what people like to make up
believe what you want, you aren't involved at Cohuna, its all guess work by you, the reason he is at Cohuna is the Moama connection, it's common knowledge he was offered allot more by other clubs, 2 in Bendigo and Boort.
how can the league suspend players for not wanting to play interleague, the CM do not pay or recruit the players, the players are paid and recruited by the clubs. it does not matter how much they get paid, good on them for getting what they can. i for one do not want the players at my club...
I was at the Cohuna/Kerang game on Saturday and must say i haven't seen a game as good for along time, either team could have won, the pressure from both sides was outstanding.
If anyone else was there, what did you think of the umpiring? There decisions at times i beleive influenced the result...
before watching Woorinen play yesterday i thought they would not be as strong as last year, i think they look a better side this year, didn't seem to rely on the same players all day. Cohuna will be there abouts at the end of the season, still having lapses during the game to let other sides get...
