Some of the blokes I know at my club are wrapped up like egyptian mummys. Most from old injuries or just because it feels better.

    Preview Round 9, 2024: Hawthorn v St.Kilda - UTAS Stadium, Launceston - Saturday 11th May, 1.45pm AEST

Philipou is a tough one. Its evident his body isnt ready yet to genuinely play midfield against sides to the level we want him too but his height/abilities are being wasted with the forward line options available. If he goes back to Sandy and plays purely mid he will likely get a lot of touch...

He was critical in that final quarter. Took 2 or 3 contested intercepts which is just huge.

What are YOU on about? You directly quoted someone and either misread, misunderstood or just flat out ignored what they said. Here, to give you a hand I will quote the exact post YOU quoted. You specifically were mocking him as if he said clubs s**t themselves, literally your words, which is...

    Preview Round 9, 2024: Hawthorn v St.Kilda - UTAS Stadium, Launceston - Saturday 11th May, 1.45pm AEST

Thats not what he said at all. He said Mitchell would be happy if King didnt line up and he is 100% correct, matching up on a forward of his type is difficult and banking on him simply having a bad day would be madness as a game plan. I also love the idea that he needs to lift his efforts when...

    Autopsy Round 8, 2024: St.Kilda v North Melbourne

Hmmm yes, I totally agree with you bunch of armchair coaches that the best way to treat a player coming back from injury, having a bad game and down on confidence is to s**t on him for nearly 8 pages straight, question his integrity as a person and invent dumb as s**t trade scenarios due to that...

His last third/quarter was much improved for that. Laid a bunch of solid tackles. But yeah, an awful game from him.

    Game Day Round 8, 2024: St.Kilda v North Melbourne - Marvel Stadium, Saturday 4 May, 4.35pm AEST

King had a terrible game, but he was being held so god damned often and blocked just as much for almost no return. Obvious umpires trying to shore up the game with those Larkey frees.

What are you on about? Aikido is a sham martial art and the idea that grabbing someones wrist is a martial arts move that caused his concussion is a stretch at best. Aliir would have not been concussed had he not left the ground under his own power to kick the ball. No kick, no concussion.

    Autopsy Round 7, 2024: Port Adelaide v St.Kilda

Kornes is a genuinely scummy person who is perfectly happy about exploiting his media position to generate clickbait income and push his personal agendas by disparaging other people. Luke Darcy is equally a s**t bloke but was 100% right about Kornes, was just a dumbass in attacking him without...

Owens was a utlity player and played just about every position, including midfield in juniors. I think expecting him to be a full time mid isnt realistic but he absolutely can be expected to learn his craft in there.

    Preview Round 8, 2024: St.Kilda v North Melbourne - Marvel Stadium, Saturday 4 May, 4.35pm AEST

He genuinely is going to be hard to keep out of the side soon with stats like that. Hes also has 2 games of 30+ disposals and a "poor" game of only 16disposals of which 2 were handballs. The only issue is we are running with too many of the young players already without bringing in another who...

    Autopsy Round 7, 2024: Port Adelaide v St.Kilda

You genuinely believe Port made Dougal Howard Captain to attempt to drive up his trade potential months before a trade was requested or even publicly known about in any form? Cordy was a free agent with a contract offer in front of him from the dogs. So, not even close to a common theme.

    Autopsy Round 7, 2024: Port Adelaide v St.Kilda

The only genuine gaff I remember him doing was his backwards handball that missed the other Saint player behind him. It was an overall risky play but honestly I dont blame him for not risking getting straight up pinned by the crooked as * umpires for daring to take possession near the goals.

I 100% agree with this. Its an obvious tactic to stir up murky waters that everyone has to swim in to allow them to basically do anything they want.

The other consideration, specifically about North tanking/not tanking last year, is that I think that had they had Pick 1 the AFL would have been more hesitant to hand them the start of first round compo pick for Mackay. I know theres little difference between pick 2 and 3 but I think as far...

The comment from Lloyd was kind of terrible as well and normally I believe him to have a pretty good football brain. Rattles off 4 of our best 22 injuries from the 8 genuine ones we have then goes on about lack of talent. Like jesus no s**t, most clubs get tested at that level of injury.
