Match Day vs North Rd 7

I love the intensity just gotta maintain the scoreboard pressure.... Love that the North supporters sitting around us think they have been hard done by... please..... makes me sick.

Williamstown vs South Adelaide (Saturday 11:05am, MCG) (Foxtel Cup)

Down by 3 points at half time: The story so far: Roberts - Getting well beaten by Andrew AINGER. Mulligan - One turnover but has won the one on one battle thus far with WUNDKE (who won the SANFL goalkicking last year). Hooper - Playing down back and entrusted with the kick outs. Has...

    Our Dysfunctional Forward Line

Galea has been fantastic at Port Melbourne and by far one of the most damaging forwards in the VFL at present. GALEA believe it or not was always on the outer when playing at Willi under Gotchy. I know there were issues with his attitutde and work rate. Seems to have turned it around. He...

In- Grant Out Wood (inj) EMERG - Cordy, Dickson, C.Smith Just on a side note thoughts go out to Jarrad Boumann who after playing Saturday night spent the rest of the night in hospital and all day yesterday. Will have surgery today to have his appendix removed and will probably miss a...

Preview Hawthorn vs Melbourne - changes & discussion & stuff like that

Boumann will be a definate out for you guys regardless of form. Spent all of yesterday in hospital and will have surgery today to have his appendix removed. Wishing him all the best with his recovery, I'd imagine its at least a 3-4 week lay off.

Williamstown vs Port Melbourne (Saturday 5th May North Port Oval at 1:10 PM) (Televised)

Thought Dickson made the most of limited opportunities. Used the ball pretty well given the conditions. Like many others around him just unable to string together four quarters. 6/10.

Round 6 v Hawthorn @ MCG (Our home game)

I thought you guys really but up a good fight. I have adopted the Saints as my wife's family are all avid supporters, so I end up tagging along to most games. I thought Blake was serviceable in the ruck and really worked hard. The loss of Fisher really hurt and made a massive difference...

Williamstown vs Port Melbourne (Saturday 5th May North Port Oval at 1:10 PM) (Televised)

Player Review: Clay Smith - In and out of the game, hard at the contest. Disposal was questionable and but could not work into the game. More serviceable than others and tried to spice things up but had little to no support in the midfield. 5/10 Jason Tutt - Still looks slightly underdone...

Williamstown vs Port Melbourne (Saturday 5th May North Port Oval at 1:10 PM) (Televised)

What do you base this on? As I mentioned earlier there were plenty worse. Internally they were happy with his game. Panos was terrible redpath was terrible moles turned it over countlessly. Talk about having a scape goat.

Williamstown vs Port Melbourne (Saturday 5th May North Port Oval at 1:10 PM) (Televised)

There were plenty worse than Mulligan today. Galea kicked two whilst opposed to him, one was when Jolley zoned back and the other was not from a marking contest. He then went onto Burstin half way through the third and kept him goalless.

    Round 7 Vs Kangaroos - Selector's Table

Jones is a forward, being developed as a forward and needs to play as a forward. Leave him be, as was shown with Easton good things will come. He is young and gets the best of the defenders every week. I thought he competed well (better than both Cloke and Dawes). Finishing skills will come with...

    Review Round 6 Review/rant Megathread

Just on another note - I dont usually have a gripe with opposition fans. People who go to the games have paid for their seat and are absoulutely entitled to their opinions and entitled to support their team. Some of the language and absolute rubbish displayed last night was disgusting...

    Review Round 6 Review/rant Megathread

Really impressive I thought. Fatigue cost us late in the game with some skill errors and they started to get on top with contested possession. The majority of Collingwood goals came from our skill errors and not guarding the defensive side of the stoppages (three times). Player Ratings...

    Favourite memory playing the Pies

2006 Final was a gem. I remember sitting on level two and in front of a corporate box full of Collingwood supporters. They gave us so much grief in the first half as there only seemed to be me and my dad and another young family decked out in red white and blue, absoloutely surrounded by...

    Round 6 Vs Collingwood - Selector's Table

Totally agree with the views of black pup in terms of players being recruited straight out of the TAC. It is a massive step up to be able to physically match it aganist bigger bodies. No matter how much emphasis is placed on weight and strength conditioning at TAC level it will always take time...

Preview Faceoff: Round 6 vs Collingwood

I know my view will be going against the grain of many but I am really optimistic about our chances tommorrow night. Here's five things that I hope to see.... 1. Picken heavy tag on Pendlebury. 2. Boyd to go head to head with Swan. Nothing aganist Swan but people are raving about his...

    Round 6 Vs Collingwood - Selector's Table

I dont understand the arrogance shown by Collingwood supporters so early in the week. It was only last week that the vultures were out for Buckley and internal riffs were peppering the Herald Sun. It amazes me how scraping over the line against an overrated Essendon by a last minute shin...

Williamstown vs Werribee ( Sunday, Avalon Airport Oval at 2:00 PM)

Morris only played the first quarter and I think pulled up pretty tight. Will more than likely play a half this week. Played on nathan Ablett deep back. Probably still about six weeks off pushing for selection I'd imagine.

    Opinion Changes vs Richmond

From an outside perspective I thought Pfeiffer and McCarthy both went okay. Id like to see them hold their spots over P. Stewart, Surjan and Young. Rodan did okay but very much only works one way. How far of is Brett Ebert? just lacking that small forward option.

Williamstown vs Werribee ( Sunday, Avalon Airport Oval at 2:00 PM)

Not good news about JJ, he will definately be given another year and may even be upgraded onto the senior list. Finally some good news on the injury front Dale Morris played some minutes in the Development team and got through okay. Brodie Moles and James Mulligan also got through, Mulligan...

Round 3 Vs St Kilda - Selector's Table

Im not sure that we need to make changes. We are working hard at Macca's new game plan and I personally think that things are going okay. Both Adelaide and the West Coast will be top four sides. Definately no need for panic stations at all. Things will happen it was never going to be a...

Preview Round 1 vs Carlton Team Released at 6.20 AEST Tonight

Much anticipated return of footy to its spiritual home. The last few years have seen the Tiges fans initial great expectations dashed but this year there is a different feel. This year I think will be the break out year for the exciting Tiges. Carlton on the other hand have had a...
