Game Day AFL Finals - Week Two - NON PIES Games

Port's run and spread is so impressive. I know a lot comes down to above the shoulders kind of stuff, but we could do worse than try to mimic what they're doing in their fitness department.

    Jakovich linked to Blues

Could this be the end of an era? Gee, I'll almost miss the big oaf. One things for sure, expect the 2013 version of the Blues to show a much improved work rate.

VFL Round 6 - Coll vs Sandringham @ Victoria Park - Saturday 1.10 PM

Getting in early with this one again. This is the TV game so those not able to get to the ground can watch it on Channel 2. Sandringham are 2-2 currently sitting at 5th on the ladder and the Pies are down at 11th. It'll be interesting to see who plays in this one. Hopefully we'll have a bit...

    Montagna bumping Curnow's injured shoulder.

*injured :( Don't like this at all. Reckon if you're injured and coming off the ground due to that injury you should be protected. When I play on the weekend I'd never dream of bumping someone that's done their shoulder. Shocking sportsmanship imo. Didn't like it when the the Brisbane boys...

    Matthew Campbell's voice

I just can't take it anymore. Hopefully when Fox Sports re-jig their lineup, he and Russel get moved on. What do we think of him in general? I find him unlistenable.

    Top 4 hysteria.

I've posted this a couple of times, but looking for some other opinions because i'm feeling like i've missed something. Is top 4 this year that vital? By my guessing, we finish 4th, we play Geelong first up. Bloody tough match. Yeah, we thrashed them last time, but i see that as a fair...

    Rule clarification?

So the rule is that if you try to rush a behind and miss, and it goes out, it's deliberate? So shouldn't it also be deliberate if a player tries to hit a target and misses over the boundry, by that same interpretation?

The next rule to be changed...

I've been thinking about this since the start of the year. Isn't it likely that one day a player will suffer an eye injury or something similar from being hit by the goal umpires flag's. Now with the rule change both umpire and player are quickly moving to do their job at around the same time in...
