Hawkins is number one in the comp for contested marks, marks inside 50, and equal 2nd in the coleman. So how can he not be in the side before Roughead or Riewoldt? :rolleyes:

Thought I would play it safe & post it here considering the major hate he seems to get from opposition supporters. The amount of love Fyfe has got in the last week had me thinking. If Selwood wasn't as loathed because of his free kicks, he would surely be regarded as the best player in the comp...

Actually thought he was one of our best tonight. If you want to have a go at someone's dispsosal how about Bartel...I thought up until the 4th quarter he was one of the reasons we dropped off. Particularly his chase down efforts in our forward 50.

I don't know which coach Burbury has pictures on, but defensive pressure alone doesn't cut it. His inside 50 pressure might be Great, but his offensive game is horrible. Varcoe is mentally gone after last years Prelim. I haven't been one to bag him out over the years, but he doesn't do enough...

Gibson is one of the better Key defenders in the comp. :oops: All year this old chestnut has been thrown around & yet he can't even man up on Geelong's only Key forward. I thought Cyril was overrated but this guy takes the cake.

Mate I watched the game and he hardly did a thing after the 1st quarter. Even Leigh Matthews commented how most of his possessions were in the backline and didn't equate to much for the team. Apart from the goal he kicked in the opening quarter, and an inside 50 that resulted in a goal.

Most of swan's touches were in the first quarter when Adelaide were on top. Once he got a tag after that he hardly did anything with it. Pendlebury is the reason you won that game, and deserves All Australian before Swan, who frankly has had an average season. And please don't quote me dt stats...
