Lol Collingwood supporters.
Your team lost, and lost badly. Happens to all teams every now and then. That is all, stop ******* sooking it up with the bullshit excuses and move on.
Great post, exactly my point from earlier in the thread too. They want higher scores yet reduced game time?
It would be utter embarrassment to the brand of the AFL if they allowed it beyond this year.
If this is the best reason to continue 16 minute quarters then I feel my point is vindicated.
All teams will be under the same rules and regulations regardless. I understand why they put in the 16 minute quarters for round 1, however those reasons have now diluted in the current predicament...
Exactly. Media still talking about "how teams are going to approach shorten quarters" when it looks like we're moving towards a more traditional fixture? Have not heard one good reason as to why we should keep them for the remainder of the year. If each team was coming off a 5 day break EVERY...
Hmmm I don't know OP, it makes too much sense to me. I don't think the AFL will buy it.
Lol. Seriously though it's a no brainer if we can indeed get going by June 11. No need for these rubbish mickey mouse quarters either.
Interesting. If they are aiming for an October 31st GF, then they can play it round by round, week by week if they begin on June 11th. The only bye would be the one before the finals (I think that's the only one the league will need this year, really). It just depends on how obsessed the league...
I don't like the hub idea, however I'm all for the idea of playing at suburban grounds if the AFL are really pushing to get back underway as early as June, particularly if fans are still locked out at that point.
Also sometime in the next couple of months, the grounds would be advertised with...
I find it extremely hard to believe that the season will be wiped completely. Gil has already stated that they're committed to play right up to NYE if necessary and I don't think he will waver on this. So if people still think the season will be called off, then I guess those same people expect...
May not be the right thread for it, but if this scenario plays out then we don't need to win another game to play finals, we just need to not be massacred.
Assuming Geelong stroll passed Freo and Gold Coast at home, which I think is inevitable unfortunately - and we lose our final two..
Port...
GA membership holder here, haven't done anything yet because I'm just assuming I'll get in due to it being our home game. Don't mind being in the nosebleed section though.
Is anyone else in the same predicament upgrading?
I don't mid Maynard being in but Tyson is probably only second to Oliver in terms of our best clearance player, and that's exactly what we need with Viney being out for the foreseeable future.
Boggles the mind.

Hey guys!
Will be following from the UK, however don't have access to BT sport where I'm at currently.
Anyone keen to PM me a stream?
Thanks in advance. :)
Only thing that concerns me about this list of players - how many of them would you consider to be "elite" kicks?
Hibberd and possibly Petracca..that's about it.
Still no excuses though imo.
Anyone here traveled the Contiki Winter Wonder Land tour over Europe? Goes for 24 days, thinking of doing it after I finish a 3 week teaching placement in Chester on December the 15th.
$4000+ is fairly steep though, would I be better off just back-packing it?
In regards to all the Weed bashing, did anyone notice he copped a rippa corkie and was out their injured from like the second quarter onwards?
You guys are a bit harsh on him I think.
Anyway I'll give this a crack..

Was at lunch with a mate on Valentines day a couple of weeks back (no homo) in at a nice spot in the Melbourne CBD (opposite Westpac on Russel street for people that may know) when I saw Campbell Brown bouncing in there like a jack rabbit. He was full of energy for no apparent reason, perhaps he...
Perfect excuse lined up if we do drop this one.
Melbourne - 7 day break.
Carlton - 182 day break.
AFL taking the piss surely? ;)
But serious question lads and ladies. Is Casey Fields accessible via Metro trains from Southern Cross?
