Its not so much he doesn't have defensive traits, just continually finds himself having to match up on bigger opponents back there.

Nobody could have stopped the Mason Wood mark. Very difficult to stop the Wilson one too as the kick favoured Wilson. How many 18 year olds make great defenders too at AFL level?

I still trust Clarko for the most part. However, the decision to play the smallest bloke on the ground deep in defence where he has a glaring disadvantage just leaves me abit speechless.

His game this week however was so much more impactful than last week, he was absolutely fantastic aside from a few matchup nightmares and one or two contests where he reaches for the ball instead of really committing the body.

Would take a pretty crazily good game for someone to get the rising star over him this week. Wilson would have if he didn't already get it, he was amazing.
