The Daily Telegraph understands ASADA boss Ben McDevitt last night signed-off on 17 show cause notices, which signal the anti-doping watchdog’s intent to charge those exposed to Cronulla’s 2011 supplement program.

Anything to try to paint ASADA in a negative light. Is there anything wrong with ASADA handing them down at short notice?
Quite a few ways to interpret that, though. Formal sign-off occurring the night before doesn't mean that was when they were decided upon.

if that's the extent of your analysis then don't bother. No-one is arguing any of that.
I find it interesting the way they are conducting themselves now that an enforcement professional is in charge. I'm not attributing any positive or negative value to there being an ambush, merely pointing out that it's interesting that separate media people were lead to believe one thing and entirely another occurred.

I don't get the ambush sentiment . ASADA did not trick them into meeting them just so they could hand out show causes, they were getting handed out anyway
