A brilliant achievement. But the season restarts again now. A repeat of 2018 would be very disappointing.

A repeat of 2019 please 🙏

Looks like at holden centre Saturday 12pm

Or is it 11:00 am on Sunday July 11?

Look at week 2 of the fixture.

If it's directly to the GF for the winner, it should be on week 2 otherwise it's a 3 week break before the GF.
Too long.

Even the week 1 and week 3 off is not ideal for the winner of this game IMO.

I think the game they have scheduled in week 2 of the fixture might be incorrect.

My understanding of the finals format is this. This is from Wiki, can anyone confirm or correct this?

Week 1
Qualifying final: 1 vs 2
Elimination final: 3 vs 6
Elimination final: 4 vs 5

Week 2
Semi final 1: QF winner vs highest ranked EF winner
Semi final 2: QF loser vs lowest ranked EF winner

Week 3
Preliminary final: Loser of SF1 vs Winner of SF2

Week 4
Grand final: Winner of SF1 vs Winner of PF

That seems to fit in with what we know.
But
3rd place seems to be nicely positioned in this format.
Beat team 6 and you are in the same position as the winner of 1 vs 2
and in a much better position than the loser of 1 v 2.

Yes, 3rd could be eliminated in week 1 but it is v team 6.

There's two ways to catch Saturday's Qualifying Final against the Cats at the Holden Centre on Saturday.

From 11am WARFRadio.com will have a one-hour pre-game show, then the live call from 12pm.
2019 VFLW Premiership coach Penny Cula Reid, as well as Bulldogs AFLW footballer Bonnie Toogood, will join us on special comments.
We hope to interview current Magpies coach Chloe McMillan around 11.25am

Just before 12pm there will also be a youtube stream (link below) featuring Julia Montesano and former Pie, now Giant Alice Eva on commentary.

Gee, free kick Geelong. Just carrying on from the shafting the bombers got last night.

Half time - Pies 20 - Cats 10

Cats owned the second half of that quarter but luckily didn't make us pay on the scoreboard

Looks like there’s a pretty stiff breeze to that Yarra end. Be nice if we can rattle on a couple with it in the 3rd.

Unconvincing win …

… but happy to take it.

Collingwood were dominant defensively.

Malloy is clearly a league above

I liked Lin’s game, she’s got a bit of dash about her and created opportunities.

Zander was key to the win too.

Bunker a strong leader, took clutch marks.

Go Pies!
