Game day is here in the nation's capital. It is forecast to be fine and sunny, albeit a little cool. Peak temperature is 12 to 13 degrees, which should be across the duration of the game, so hopefully that will help persuade interested onlookers to come out and watch the game.

An important game for us - but we can say that about all of the games for the past 5 weeks, and for the next 5 weeks too. It's one that we should be in a strong position to win, but certainly in the past we have had difficulty with games such as these. However, Adam Kingsley seems to have developed a different mindset amongst the boys, and hopefully that translates into a solid win today, and ending the run of defeats at our second home in Canberra.

Let's rip into 'em, Giants!

Beautiful winter's day here in Canberra.

Let's make it a win, Giants, and turn Manuka back into a fortress.
Yes great day for a match. Time for the longest consecutive losing streak in any ground in our history (9 going back to May 2019!) to be broken. The market also has us clear favourites at $1.60 (Gold Coast is $2.30). Win today and we will also create another piece of history- 6 consecutive wins, our equal highest streak ever. Cmon Giants!

Hi guys, looking at your team you have a lot of defenders named. Do you think this means HH is fwd?
I certainly hope so. We have to pick our best team to win, some clubs like giving games to young players if they don't warrant it but thankfully we don't do that

Lucky our small and med forwards are hitting the scoreboard, if we manage to get the win without a goal to our 2 KPF's will be a lucky great result

Need a buffer going into the last though

Sam Taylor is Ted Whitten, Barrassi and Leigh Matthews combined into one player.
