I tipped us but a stunning win. Could not see it 20 points down in the 3rd. In a state of disbelief at 3/4 time
Crippa was special
Walsh
De Konig and Pitto. Was I watching Wow Jones anf Fitzpatrick. Percy and John Nicholls?
Few believed in 2 rucks but Vossy delivers Pitto 17 posessions and TDK 3 goals
Kudos to Boyd, Cottrel,Moo Cowan and E Hollands

The small fwds really annoy me. Durdin missing the sealer from 30m on the run-unacceptable for a small fwd.

One of the most pleasing aspects of Cottrells game I saw today was his ability to lower the eyes and hit up a target in f50.

We all know he is a cool cucumber and he showed that today with his thoughtful passes.

It really was a thing of beauty. I hope we see him do more of that in future matches.

This 1000%.

When we lower the eyes and take the easy hit ups we are transformed as a side. The long bomb to the big fellas has to be the exception not the norm. And that it can work (because of the marking power we have) is a massive leg up on the rest of the comp.

Key is make the leads, honour the leads. An area where Owies does some of his best work.

Cripps went head to head with Tom Green and ****ing destroyed him. Unreal game

Before this season started I had GWS as favourites to win the flag, but after that win I’m absolutely convinced we’re as good a chance as anyone. Maybe staying the obvious, but gee we were good today.

All the injuries against a great team, but we dominated in the end, especially in the middle over what I think is the best midfield in the competition.

Our depleted defence got their act together, but I think the centre dominance helped considerably.

TDK is going to be frighteningly good in a couple of years. His agility, skill and footy smarts are brilliant.

So glad I was there today for one of our best performances for the season.

What a second half of football! Makes me struggle to understand what happened with Adelaide loss last week.

Remember just over two years ago we were fighting and deciding between Ross Lyon and Vossy!
My oh my, we made the right decision and dodged a Ross the toss bullet.

Last year we were all talking about Vossy’s lack of plan B and C
But credit where credit is due. He has significantly improved his in game game play and plans. Willing to make changes to structure and players to get us back on top in terms of the game style we want to play!

Well done Vossy!

And to the blue boys! Wowee! What an amazing team performance led by the immense Crippa and Walshy!

Twin towers premiership qtr specialists

Special mention to Cowan! Did amazing! And has a leg on him!

And Ollie! Have read some smack talk about him over the last 2 weeks. What a great game from him to shut the haters up!

Go baggers!

Didn’t need a backline after we just decided to win every clearance from half time

For those here who said we can't play Cripps, Hewett & Kennedy in the same side I want you to cut a lemon in half, cover it in salt and suck on it continuously for the next 30 minutes. Then, and only then, can you reach for the tequila.

Loved that Cowan brought the aggression and attack on the ball that he showed last week in VFL. Looked ready for another go at senior level and proved us right.

Really good team effort and glad we rediscovered our clearance and contested game. Go Blues. :thumbsupv1:
Kennedy in the gutses makes a huge difference for us.

And honestly Harry can be an incredible lead to hit up. At full tilt he's almost impossible to stop in terms of speed and height.

Vintage Cripps, really moving well lately.

You cannot understate what Sam Walsh does for us either, how he is underrated by other supporter bases is beyond me. Streets better than those he is often compared to (Smith, Naicos, McCluggage, Brayshaw) there’s a reason he’s had a 30 vote season in the brownlow and is the only player to win the finals MVP without playing in the GF

... do we have to do it if we only thought it?

If he was in Game of Thrones he’d be known as The Mountain That Leads.

He’s a monster. I’ve always been a fan and knew he was going to make the critics look silly. Rapt it’s happening.

Actually true, I was worried as heck with the way Weiters was moving. Nek minnet, we just don't let it down there.

Not sure what happens when Cez comes back.

Put him at hbf rotating into the middle if Zilliams doesn't get up?
