To be honest their analysis of us was pretty terrible. For example apparently Crouch is a player that gets 40 possessions one week and dropped the next.

Marnie is an Essendon fan so I'm assuming she saw us dismantle her team before making the prediction.

It's another example of how some circles of the media basically ignore us. I don't mind being under the radar though.

The membership numbers suggest Saints fans think it could be a good year. Better than Marnie is predicting anyway.

The reality is we, the supporters, are in a fortunate position of being able to contribute in a meaningful way, simply by buying a membership.
Membership and sponsorship are the cornerstones to our club getting out of debt.
If Melbourne & North can do it, so can we!

In just the last 2 weeks 7,850 memberships have gone out the door(I mentioned that the new guy in memberships is killing it...)

Hopefully people are doing upgrades this season and that would boost the bottom line.....big time.

Just thought I'd mention, and maybe it's obvious to everyone else, but those membership surveys they send out aren't anonymous. I was contacted by the club a few weeks back about some feedback I left.. Naturally I paused because I've gone pretty hard on those surveys, and the bloke goes "don't worry, the feedback was good" lol

I'm not bothered by anything I said, I stand by all of it. (Even if I do deliberately wait till I'm 8 beers in to fill them out for maximum honesty). I just presumed it was anonymous unless you click the box that says you're ok to be contacted lol

It’s a good podcast but primarily a comedy podcast over actual football analysis - they routinely get things wrong and are biased and that’s kind of the point and where the comedy comes from - Marnie is a journo so you’d expect some aspect of ‘expert opinion’ but then again, most journos have NFI.
