Bernie tweeted last night that he is having scans and this morning that he will be out for 3-4 weeks.

would love to see Lyons come in. seems an obvious like for like replacement, plus it rewards the guy in great SANFL form.

I wouldn't be surprised to see Douglas come back via the Bays this time. I think he is still 2 weeks away.

Was Dougy handled well last time?

After jagging a hammy during the preseason he was brought straight back in for round 1. He then does it again at the start of the second match. With no injuries at the time would it have made more sense to have brought him back via the SANFL? We need him for rounds 5-10, we were always going to win 3 of the first 4 games (or we are a lot worse than everyone thought at the end of the MMC).

Wonder if he just toughed it out seeing as Petrenko had already been subbed off early? Of course he was poor, but surely the hand would have been at least partially responsible. He did take that two handed mark out in front of goal shortly before the end of the game, and shanked it.

The injury may provide an opportunity for Lyon however I always prefer to have Bernie for a showdown
