Hoping nothing too serious. Huge game on the weekend and has had enough bad luck

Is this an injury that can be fixed in 2 weeks ? Or will this keep him out for a while. God I hope not
The vibe to me - not reported for two days, few details when it was reported, still in hospital two days later, kidney - says it could be at least somewhat serious. But I could be wrong and we won't know until more details are released.

Not a bad way to get out of training...

But seriously, this makes his efforts seem so much greater knowing he was playing out three quarters potentially injured AND playing a key role.
The best fullbacks are legends people don't know about until they are deliberately exposed. Davis will be a legendary FB

Don't write off Gilham completely. An old head may be better than a young inexperienced one. If it's like-for-like replacement, then Gilham most closely matches Davis. Happy to say, we have depth at last!

Doesnt have close to the pace any more.
True that, but what he does, or should have, is Hawthorn like kicking skills. If there is a weakness in Haynes, (to a lesser extent Kennedy) & Frost, it is pin-point passing from defence, coz' when the boys spray it gets ugly quickly. My thinking is those three kids in any one defence is enough, what's needed is composure and reliabiity. If Corr or Plowman are ready for that, all the better!!
