Browns OC John DeFilippo said the team is ready to "explore" using CB Justin Gilbert on offense.

A colossal bust on the defensive side of the ball, the No. 8 overall pick of last year's draft has played exactly eight snaps this season. However, Gilbert has always had some Ed Reed-ian return skills, and is a playmaker with the ball in his hands. It's just hard to see how he could meaningfully make the switch as a 23-year-old lifetime defensive back. The Browns have been run about as poorly as possible since firing Joe Banner and Mike Lombardi.

His 'punk attitude' (read: tickets all over himself) pre-draft was an sheer embarrassment … sooooo glad the Browns took him. Steelers apparently claim he was 'on their hit list'.. *smh*. Gimme Willie Gay anytime.

My hunch...it is b.s.

Then again, putting 3 CR on the stupid Browns this past weekend cost me a victory in Next Dual...just like those bastards cost me a victory last week when I didn't take them. o_O

We won't even start into my hunches regarding the ex....so take them for what the are worth--namely, ZILCH. :thumbsu:

Not surprisingly I see that the original tweeter is backpedaling at Olympic record speed. Rumblings about hearing "something" was coming down on Joe last week had to be from that article above I posted. I had not seen or run across it until today--and at the time nobody could even direct me to that article.

I have to believe Joe is not that incredibly insane and/or stupid. So I call b.s. as well Blacky
