Your club's (and every other club's) supporters are more than welcome to "intimidate" the umpires in the exact same way.

Still, the umpiring in this game has been very poor. Overumpired. Poor holding the ball decisions as usual - Scarlett takes 3 players on, is tackled, drops the ball and play on is called. Dawes dives on the ball and is pinged (correctly)....why wasn't Scarlett pinged?

I see this a lot in "other" games on Foxtel, and it's like the umpires have to be seen to be doing something to prove their worth, otherwise, the fear is that they will be dropped.
At times....umpires KILL the game as a spectacle, rather than let the game flow.

Only one that really had me baffled so far has been the 50m paid against Dawes very early in the game. Selwood missed anyway.

There's been a few missed, but that happens.
 
what about all the blocking the pies do every week ie the man on the mark, impeding guys going for the mark etc, you pies fans have no leg to stand on when it comes to whinging about free kicks. Get over it the cats outplayed you in the 1st qtr.

They probably should boo now, that Wood free kick when Pendlebury kicked a goal was the very definition of advantage.

Well done Cats, but that should have been called advantage.

Shouldn't have even have been a free - they both had arms over the shoulder, but Wood was too weak to stay on his feet (not having a go, he was obviously stuffed).

it was still GIVEN a free so the advantage rule should have been paid.

whether or not its a free or not shouldn't determine whether the advantage rule is paid or not.

Just loved the chant 'CCoooolllllliiiinnnnggggwwwwoooooddd" with 10 minutes to go in the last quarter and then Geelong came back and smashed them. Sometimes the Collingwood crowd actually works against them. great to see it though.

Had a Collingwood supporter wander over to the Carlton board to claim that they have become so good that the fans don't care about the umpiring, they know they will win anyway.. They must have been booing the flat, warm beer.

If it's illegal, why aren't the umpires enforcing the rules and paying the other team free kicks for it then?
 
Booing the umps at quarter time, c'mon its supposed to be umpire appreciation round... :)

It was given a free, and then Ottens got the next touch, so advantage could not have been given as Collingwood did not have the next touch. Play also stopped for about 10 minutes before Pendles shot aswell...
