Great win, and to see us absolutely smash a team on the scoreboard and in the major stats, shows the improvement in this side.
Last season, despite how good we were, the door was always left open by us for the opposition to get back into the game. Today we firmly shut that door, and kept the foot on the PA throat.
N Daicos, what a talent, and for those screaming for him to be tagged, well he was, but still blitzed, so PA practically gave up the tag.....
Yeah, in the first quarter Nick's tag had one disposal & Nick had nine.
That worked, didn't it!

Overall a great effort all round on a lovely Saturday afternoon.

Just for something a little bit different I made a point of watching WHE here as one player who's a bit of a whipping boy and, in the opinion of some posters, probably one of the first players to make way from the older guard.

Came away really impressed with the role he is playing, set himself up a lot as the first link in the chain when we were moving the ball forward, ran hard up and down his wing all day, showed good hands in the air and generally either halved the contest or applied pressure well (even though he wasn't credited with any tackles) when the opposition had the ball in his area.

He's never going to stand out on the stats sheet playing this way, but I reckon it really is one of those largely unnoticed roles which act as the glue which holds the game plan together so there's definitely still a spot for him in our best 22 imo if he can keep this sort of play up.

Yep a true loyal soldier that helps his team mates shine.

2.NAICOS
1.BALDPEPPER.

Wide skill gap between the sides, their coach and a handful of workers carry a lot of logs.

Umps do not like Port, added a coupla goals to the margin.

Sorry for Hinkley, I think he'll be blamed for this but their list looks poverty struck and I feel it's a recruitment issue.

We're not exactly flying and we won by 12, very solid systems in place. 3rd q looked like Hinkley got a hold of our game plan, I think we scored 4 goals to 3 so even when they're not on top they maintain some goal flow.

Baldpepper was terrible, kept trying to break 3 tackles when he had an easy handball option.
