Imagine what impact a top up/supplementary player training with AFL resources would make at amateur and country level. Very lucky that doesn't happe....oh wait :$

Do they actually train with the Crers though, or do they just come down from the farms and mine sites when they get the call?

What is really crazy is....

What if Power lose Sat night, heaven forbid.

Young, Trengove, Impey, White and co...can't play Magpies anymore. So a bunch more academy guys have to come up.

Academy gets players from where for its finals? Port Districts? They'd be rapt to lose half their players for finals...and so on. The ripple effect is quite ridiculous.
