TO CARLTON: Scott Thompson, Chris Knights, Richard Douglas, Pick 14
TO ADELAIDE: Pick 1(BRYCE GIBBS)
The Crows are pleased to secure BRYCE GIBBS after the AFL screwed them out of the young midfielder through the Father Son rule the Crows have had to pay a hefty price for the HIGHLY touted midfielder.
We lose some quality young players but we have always said we want to find a way to get Bryce to the Crows and this was it.

The Carlton Football Club anounce that they have done a blockbuster trade deal with the Adelaide Crows.
Carlton retain the highly rated midfield trio of Scott Thompson, Chris Knights and Richard Douglas, along with pick 14. Whilst the Carlton Football Club were very reluctant to let pick 1 go, the fact that Bryce may have left a few years down the track was a large factor in the decision. With the additions of Thomspson, Knights, and Douglas to the midfield, we feel as though we have the best young midfield in the competition. Pick 14, whilst not as good as pick 1, still allows the Carlton Football Club to draft another young promising player, and bolster its team as they begin the climb up the ladder.

Andrew has been developing in the reserves for the Swans over the last few years. He was going to come into the team next year. With the addition of Andrew we feel we have gained a young developing ruck who has alreasy come under the developmental eye of Paul Roos and the Swans coachig staff.
Andre is around 204 centimetres tall and has a good leap, and we are looking forward to him becoming an integral part of the Carlton lineup.

Carlton swoop on their second ruckman acquired during the trade period. Guy has been struck down by injuries over the last few years, but has been given the all clear by the Carlton medical staff.
Prior to injuries, Guy showed great promise, and we are confident that he will be able to emulate this form for the Blues. We also upgrade our late pick in this superdraft.
We thank Adrian for his time and effort at the Blues over the last few years and wish him well in the future.
With the recent additions of Richards and Ericksen, the Blues have announced they will not be trading for any more ruckmen. Now the ruck division, the forward line and the midfield are set and looking very strong.
Carlton is searching for defenders now. Who is on the market? Also very interested in picks. Enquire through PMs. In addition, Nick Stevens has asked to be traded. Offers from all clubs will be considered.
