Shane Loveless would be the one. Played 28 games at Footscray from 79 - 81 for 72 goals including a bag of 8. Then went on to be a bit of a country league ledg kicking tons just about every year. Retired in his forties. Had to get his jumpers specially made he was that big.

Enjoyed watching Keith "Whale" Pelham and Gary Goodall make everyone look stupid back in '95 when they both kicked tons for Trentham on the way to a premiership. Both very big units, Gary was also vertically challenged. Neither had a reputation for being light fingered or shifty.

I saw a guy play in the Hume league one day wearing a jumper that only covered harf his stomak. They called him Doughboy or something.Gun player and a real karacter.

yeah got to see loveless play was a big unit and was good, danny erwin at waaia was just as big as loveless and dominated the picola and district football league, kicked over 200 goals in a season one year.

Anyone seen Maurice Goolagong play? Plays in the Black Diamond league based around the Central Coast/Newcastle area of NSW.Has kicked big goals up there for many years.

I remember a bloke called grub who played in the upper murray with walwa who stacked it on in his later days still went alright though, heard he was assisting max duncan at tumba:D

A couple Ive seen in my time,

Vin Muccitelli - played at so many clubs its not funny but has certainly delivered. Kicked over 100 goals at a number of clubs including his coaching premiership year at Warburton Millgrove in the Yarra Valley Division 2 last year.

Gary Oakman - kicked 100 goals a number of times at Vermont in the Eastern FL. Big, overweight and slow, but geez he delivered!!!

Brent Willams from Noble Park he got dropped one week to the twos cause he missed training and he kicked 25 straight in the ressies

Khan McMahon was a pretty fair player in the north-east area big boy but played senior footy at Wodonga and Albury in the O and M, runner-up in Kiewa b and f and coached a premiership side in the upper murray:)

He even sells cars while playing......Man mountain Darren Land from Cudgy Blues.........Rown Evans when he was topping 40 could mix it with the fat guys senn him eat a hotdog at half time in one go........

kristian Shevlin formally of Barnawartha in the TDFL and Murray Hair of Thurgoona in the same league are two great players that come to mind old Muz is Ronald Macs favourite little friend

The forgotten Filo, BJ, probably had more skill than Derek and Shuan put together. could create goals off his arse, his knees or from 60.

Unfortunately, neither brother could play him in the seniors 'cause it just didn't give a very good impression when they ran out against the opposition.
:) Must agree that B J Filo was the most talented out of the three at all sports he smashed Shuan at tennis. Derek at cricket and he also swam for victoria at the national titles. He told me he got burnt out as a youngster and decided to give it away and balloned out a little.
Had freakish skills with the oval ball. The other thing he has celebrated more grand final victories than any other person in this country not to have recieved a medal and at clubs that have beat either Derek or Shuan it does not matter. B J is also one of the best sporting tipsters around in any sport very rarely if ever wrong.

The Fatman himself knew a bit about playing the game. Was the most skillful player at Kyneton during the glory years of 95 -97. Didn't crack it for the seniors (Filo was a stickler for size) but still won the league goalkicking once or twice and was seriously damaging when moved into the guts for the ressies. How things Ox? - long time, no see.

A bloke from Seville by the name of slugga has put on enough beef to be called a fat man, plays forward or back and moves with grace. A real talent on and off the field:)

danny irwin from colbinabbin in the heathcote league. massive unit. kicked 245goals in a season, not sure what club he was at then. hes about 6'6" and is a very big boy.has lost a lot of wait in last 2 years though. probably dropped 20kgs but damn he is a big man.very solid.great player and great bloke.
