We watched this last night and thought it was pretty good. A nice nostalgic trip. 7/10

Had several classic comedies beyond Ghostbusters, though the ghostbusters films and Kindergarten Cop were the ones I watched most as a kid.

Watched this tonight. Wasn’t too bad. Nothing out of the ordinary but enjoyable enough. The young girl was great.

Physical 4K is out. I enjoyed this more than the abomination that was the 2016 movie.

Slow to start
The mother was a miscast but then other choices may have struggled. It was a nice adventure and I'd be up for another movie.... if they stay in the same world but with more characters and not just the same younger characters in this one.

Stripes probably Reitman's best after the original Ghostbusters.

‘Venom 3′ and ‘Ghostbusters: Afterlife’ Sequel in the Works at Sony

Sony Pictures has greenlit "Venom 3," a new entry in the Tom Hardy Marvel series, and a follow-up to "Ghostbusters: Afterlife."

Getting a sequel. I liked all the new characters so would check it out.

Hopefully Jason Reitman stay onto direct.

The only reason to watch this is paul rudd.

everything else was boring. very little comedy. Boring plot.

had lots of cameos but none of them were any good.

and yes this movie was indeed stranger things with a ghostbusgers badge.

really really strange to move this to the middle of no where and with kids.

a ghostbusters film without actual ghostbusters.

After the absolute abomination that was the female Ghostbusters it's good to see the franchise reset in the way it has been. Sadly the humour is not as edgy as in the original film but it at least feels like an authentic continuation of the story.

I fell like these have been "Sharing the old with the new, with my kids" finally done right.

Its probably happened for decades, but i find now more than ever, artists/studios et al see the value in the old days. Bringing back the originals in cameos or roles to brige the gap between old and new. Therefore, cashing in on the old timers (with cash), and the newbies (whose parents have cash).
