Only problem with that is that Geelong would be unlikely to accept a 3rd or 4th round pick for Taylor. Can't see him playing for us under any circumstances.

The Eagles will almost certainly lose Mitch Brown at the end of the season. He wanted to return to Victoria last trade period but the Eagles refused to budge because they see him as insurance in case one of Glass, Schofield or Mackenzie is unavailable and they thought they could change his mind.
But it seems Brown is set on returning to Victoria, so the Eagles may well include Brown in a deal with Geelong for Taylor.
Would definitely be a downgrade for the Cats to receive Brown, so the Eagles would likely need to include a sweetener, but I think it puts the Eagles in front in the event Taylor does decide to leave Geelong.

West Coast could tank the rest of this season and get a good draft pick and either use that for Taylor or use their 2nd first round pick plus Taylor for him.
When you're a KPD and kick 5.2 regardless of who it was against, your value is going to skyrocket.
