How many games will Hugh Goddard play in 2015?

I think if we play Bruce forward we could see Goddard make a few appearances, I don't think ideally we want Fisher at CHB. 4-7 would be nice and any more is a bonus imo though.

Actually reckon he could get upwards of 10. As a tall backman, he's in the one role where we're a little thin. There's effectively two spots for a tall defender, maybe three. Of the players on our list who can play that role:

1. Bruce is looking like being a forward instead.
2. Fisher is older and has a recent history of injury.
3. Delaney is also susceptible to injury in his hip.
4. Simpkin is too short and considered a bit "so last year".
5. Gilbert is more your third-tall-backman type, and is even more injury prone than Fisher.
6. Roberton is more your third-tall-backman, but has fallen behind because of injury.

That gives Hugh a BIG chance to break in.

The only counter argument to my claim that he's got a good chance this year, is that he is young, and talls at either end of the ground take time. But hey, Kosi won a Rising Star playing the kind of role Goddard could play, so it's not unheard of for young players to go into that role.
