Re: I'm playing online now - Part 4

My stats from PokerStars from the tournament with 4 players left. We had a really interesting situation when we got to 10 players left (5 per table 6max tournament) where about 75% of the chips in play were on the other table. Even as table bigstack, I was 4/10.

During current Hold'em session you were dealt 251 hands and saw flop:
- 37 out of 50 times while in big blind (74%)
- 30 out of 51 times while in small blind (58%)
- 48 out of 150 times in other positions (32%)
- a total of 115 out of 251 (45%)
Pots won at showdown - 26 of 47 (55%)
Pots won without showdown - 50

Winning roughly 1/3 pots at the moment most on 6 player tables... Very aggressive...

Re: I'm playing online now - Part 4

Ok well I obviously couldn't stay away from poker, as much as I hate it I love it even more. Took 2 months off which was very refreshing and has already had some benefit. 10 MTT's back into it and I took down the $50 Chinese Daily with 243 runners for ~$3k, right in time for GSOP which starts on the 25th.

Heads-up in the Chinese Daily, last 2 hands here. I had been playing a ridiculously aggressive game all night (probably had a little something to do with listening to Annette Obrestad's commentary on Fox Sports for the entire 6 hours) so figured he could have air here a large enough % of the time, shoved over the top with 4:diamond:4:club: was pretty happy about this read as it was pretty much for the tournament.

Re: I'm playing online now - Part 4

Take to months off, come back, win 3k.... I need to do something like that.

I always find small breaks here and there can be good for poker. Just good timing me thinks, ran pretty well in the final 20 or so though. Flopped about 4 or 5 nut flushes and got paid off every time, mostly with people just donk-shoving into me.

Re: I'm playing online now - Part 4

Time for me to take some time off I think. Just been getting 2 and 3 outted constantly lately. Just in the last hour my 4 bust outs have been KK v JJ (J on the flop obv), KK v 44 (4 on the turn obv), TT v A9 (flopped a 9 turn is a 9 obv), AK v QT (flop is AQT obv)

Re: I'm playing online now - Part 4

Haven't played for about 2 months now... hope I can pull the old 3k cash when I finally decide to make my return!

Re: I'm playing online now - Part 4

You guys seen Rush Poker on FTP? 200+ hands per hour.

http://www.fulltiltpoker.com/rush-poker

Yep. Played a few hours a night over the past few nights. Don't mind it at all.

A lot more betting/3-betting pre flop. Far less calling/limping.

Played the 0.10/0.25 (6 max) - perhaps a total of 5 hours over 2 nights. Have played approx 1400 hands in that time. Up $165.

Re: I'm playing online now - Part 4

2nd hand of Event 1 ($200 freezeout deepstack): pretty damn slim call for this early stages but his bet sizes seemed a little large like he was trying to get a fold. My leadout looks weak, which is why I can see him firing 3 barrels at me. He bet the river way too quickly as well.
PRE-FLOP

Re: I'm playing online now - Part 4

Nothing went right after that, got 3 outed in a $6k pot AQ vs A9 and everytime I tried a move i'd run into a monster/a raise. First coinflip of the night, I honestly rekcon my coinflip ratio in $200+ MTT's would be hovering around 20-30%. My record is 0/9 cashes last 120 days. This guy had no idea how to play post-flop and was just consistently shoving his 20-40bb stack in preflop, was looking for a flip and got it. Just never run good in these big tourney's, getting ridiculously frustrating.

Re: I'm playing online now - Part 4

Played a few tables of 6 max (.05/.10 and .10/.25) Omaha on Stars last night.

Started off having my AAJT double suited cracked by QQ83 with 4789 all 3 all in pre flop. No idea what the 3rd guy was doing. Toiled around a bit longer but its hard work getting money from this table (.05/.10), not many calls for big bets.

Then 2 minutes later got done again with AhA7h8 against KK89 no hearts all in on the flop of 4h3h4d. Turn comes Kh and I'm left with $2. Instead of getting angry and pushing I waited and about a round later got a good hand in the BB (A-J-10-7) and checked it. Flopped 2 pair and pushed and was called by 2 others so had $6 again.

Guy that lucked out on me before with the K's doubled me up again later when he bluffed into my nut flush. Then 2 hands later I flopped a full house and got him to go all in on the river when he got a lower full house.

Ended up $37 up on the 0.10/0.25 and $8 down on the 0.05/0.10 table.

Definately a beatable game.

This moves me to chipleader - still 42 people left however in the $11 deepstack, 30 min blinds that started at 1am in the morning.

I took a break from poker like others also seemed to have - Have to say though, I've missed the rush of hands like this...

Nice hand, nice stack.

Tough spot for the tens. The 5x pot shove is pretty insane. After your raise, he should know he is very likely drawing to 10 outs.

Been top 2/3 for the last couple of hours, and manage to lose 200k+ in quick time as its starting to get towards teh final table, which included a bad call from myself and some bad luck

So frustrating...

Out in 14th for like $90. Got frustrated and overplayed my first decent hand for the past hour being AJ on an Ace high flop. He had AQ, though I actually didnt think he had the Ace...

12 hours - a little depressing yes.

Cooler. If you're getting a bit shortstacked, there's no way you're getting away from AJ there unless some nit has opened UTG.
