Nope, they will be taking a KPF to replace Reiwoldt - they've seen what happens to a team like the Doggies with no target man, and it's not pretty.

And if they trade with GWS, with Melbourne having the next two picks, theres no guarantee Melbourne wont trade with, say, Carlton and the Doggies.

Pick 1 is therefore indigestible.

Pick two, on the other hand, is well and truly in play.

St.Kilda have Stanley, Lee, and White to fill that hole, plus ruckmen who may have a spell at full-forward. Stanley pretty much plays the lead up forward role like Riewoldt (113 marks this year) lots of upside (It looks as though Roo almost inhibits Stanley, with both playing a similar role, and Stanley having his best games when they were far apart from each other), White looks like a goalkicker, just needs a few more preseasons to build a tank, could be a star, and Lee was looking promising last year as well, but was hit with injuries (this coming year should tell).

Saints can also leech of fringe kpp from GWS and GC if necessary. McCartin and Wright aren't stand out key forwards, if Boyd was drafted this year, he would be pick 1 miles ahead of everyone else.

Even if Saints get pick 3/4 and McCartin and Wright are gone (highly doubt), they'll just pick Brayshaw instead, GWS get their man, St.Kilda get Jaskch, 3/4 (Wright/McCartin/Brayshaw), and steaknives.

Think I read or heard somewhere Paige is a scout for Port. She does have good contacts.
