Sunderland equalised through Gooch. Game ended 1-1. Not a bad result to take a point.

I know its not a premier league thread...apologies
I’m with you on this one. Hopefully the club maintains the goods and chattels. Finds a reputable owner and bounces back. Even as a non-league team.Gutted to see the tragic demise of Bury FC kicked out of the football league after 120 years.
Really left a bitter taste in my mouth
Hope those bastards at the EFL can live with themselves knowing they have ripped the hearts out of a club that has been loved and cherished by generations of fans and families.
The whole football community should be hurting over this disgrace.

Didn't realise Bolton had gone into administration, I thought they were in the top flight not that long ago.Away to Bolton Wanderers today.
Danger game when stuff like this is written on the game day blog.
“Saturday’s hosts Bolton have endured a hard few years and were forced to start this season with -12 points after going into administration. The 2019-20 campaign hasn’t been without its issues either as Keith Hill came in to replace Phil Parkinson as head coach before a major overhaul on Deadline Day saw Wanderers recruit nine new faces. Winless after seven league games, Bolton have scored just once and conceded 23 times.”
They were. Mismanagement can hit these teams quickly.Didn't realise Bolton had gone into administration, I thought they were in the top flight not that long ago.
