Hey Benny ! On your list of possible guest for the show this year i have some ideas on who would be good to have on the show

Michael Lambert - Aka Swoooper --- SFL Divi 3 Umpire -- and a known figure around the traps .. Played at as many games as what i have had hot dinners

i would think some one like COREY STEPHENS would make a great guest on the show, could explain the difference between amatuers and s.f. l. and if s.f. l. are moving in the right direction ,and does he think s.f. l. are doing enough for the COLTS ,would be good to know did he always want to coach ,would he prefer to be a playing or non playing coach ,just how hard it is to coach and how much time is involved in coaching ,also did talking to the players come naturally to him or did he have to work on this skill.

Thanks DOOODAH and Always Dropped for the heads up on possible stories.

We will keep both of them in mind for future stories. We have highlighted Swooper previously, he is definetly a local footy legend.

Corey is also a good story, but we have a full book to finish out this year.

Thanks for thinking of us and for tuning in to "The Local Footy Show"

Benny

Have to congratulate you guys on the show this year. I think that you have raised the bar a notch or two.

I thought that the passion that you used to bring to The Southern Footy Show would be lost, and therefore The Local Footy Show would be found wanting.

This is not the case. The show gives a terrific coverage to all local footy. I expect it has opened up a bigger audience by covering all those other leagues.

What sort of feed back have you received from this new spectrum ?

It seems to me that the stories that you have shown this year are more varied and of more interest to the general footy fan. I’ve been fascinated

From a viewers point of view I am enjoying seeing stories from all the different competitions. I can’t believe that you have even covered the country from Swan Hill to Red Hill , Hume Vs Tallangatta, Hamilton and Kinglake as well as the major metro comps.

This might sound quirky but watching the match highlights and the footage from around all the different leagues, it intrigues me seeing the different colours and designs of footy jumpers worn.

Keep up the good work.

Benny or Local Footy Media do you know where you will be through the finals.

P.S “Fair Go Kev” and give C31 a digital license. Then more of my mates will be able tune in.
