*In this week’s Golden Days of Footy segment, we revisit the halcyon days of 1953* when we screen footage of a C-Grade final between Tooronga and Deepdene, played at Mitcham. Deepdene has long since vanished from the landscape, while Tooronga merged with Malvern to form Tooronga Malvern in 1964. Great stuff – and it’s in full colour too!
