On Triple M. A fan has had a outburst outside Ikon Park throwing the club jumper and kit and having a rant.

Judd says there is an air of sadness, but the players will stick by the club and get behind Barker.
Just like the players got behind Malthouse!

Like something out of Game of Thrones. Has MM mortally wounded Trigg with his allegation that Eddie had been signed and delivered? I hope so. Trigg should be shown the door in the next few weeks, and the Board should then call for an extraordinary election and let the members decide. Let's get this over and done with and start fresh. In the meantime we can see if John Barker can bring something new in our game plan. Either way everyone will be watching the first quarter on Friday. Hopefully a new game plan and a lift in intensity from the players will give us all some encouragement. Pretty weak that Juddy was forced to front up to the press whilst Murphy was missing. Time for Murphy to stand down and let Simpson captain the team for the rest of the season. Our coach in waiting could be watching this game with more than usual interest.

This club has systematically stuffed itself.for a near decade of horrific recruitment, a disgustingly oversized board of individual egos and not a single clue about the place.
Oh, hmm. There, there.
(Just by the way, once upon a time our recruiting was so good we couldn't find a place for Jacobs or Grigg or Laidler, three players that seem to go alright at other clubs. Then add Waite and Eddie and Jeff and Robbo and that is 7 who are regulars with other clubs. If our recruiting is so bad, how come we have 7 ex-players playing elsewhere?)

But yep, sacking Mick gives us hope that nothing has really changed about the club.

You don't think the coach is of any importance? Curious viewpoint. You must wonder why we paid him $1M bucks then.

Thanks goodness its over. Has been painful to watch the pantomime playing out over the last couple of weeks as the gap between coach and club has widened.

Need a thorough review into the entire football club by someone qualified to do so that has no connections. Totally independent review and free to call it as they see it. Our problems are far deeper than just the coach and playing list. The lack of professionalism by the executive and leadership outside the footy department has beggared belief. Their comments about rebuilding tore the heart out of our team and are largely responsible for what has transpired.

I feel for the guys who run out in our jumper each week. Hope they can keep their chins up and play to their ability.
I will never stop supporting our beloved club.

Will be fireworks on Friday night if it is true that Mick Malthouse will be playing a small part in the ch7 commentary.

Hard to believe he could or want to do it only three days after being sacked and also the whole Mark Stevens ch7 saga
