TIMELINE

Thursday 16 February:
Service revolver obtained for user pays event. Was stored at mother's as per regulations.

Sunday 19 February: User pays event.

Monday 20 February: The murders at Baird's Paddington rental.

Monday 19 February: Police have alleged gunshots were heard from a house in Paddington, Sydney in the morning. Four minutes after the first shots were fired there was a 000 call made from Jessie's phone around 9.45am, but it disconnected. Police said there was "no communication" during that call.

Monday evening: Police have alleged Lamarre-Condon hired a white Hiace van from Sydney Airport.

Tuesday 20 February: Police have alleged that partial admissions were made by Lamarre-Condon to an acquaintance of having been involved in the death of two individuals.

Service revolver was returned to Balmain & later transferred to original storage.

Wednesday 21 February: Bloodied clothing belonging to both victims and an $8000 watch were found in a skip bin in the southern Sydney suburb of Cronulla. Police launch a missing persons investigation and the homicide unit is notified

Later same Wednesday: Police have alleged Lamarre-Condon attended the Bungonia area with an acquaintance who police believed assisted him in purchasing an angle grinder and padlock from a local hardware store in that area, before driving to a rural property in Bungonia.

Police said the "small" angle grinder was used to sever a padlock from the gate of that particular rural property and then that padlock was replaced with a padlock purchased from the hardware store.

The acquaintance was left at the top of the property for 30 minutes. The accused disappeared for that period in the Hiace van, returning to pick up the acquaintance and then they returned to Sydney later that afternoon. Police said the acquaintance was assisting them in their inquiries, that she is not a suspect, and they believe she was an "innocent agent".

Wednesday 11pm: Police have said that evening, weights were purchased from a department store by the accused and it is believed that the accused returned to that rural property overnight and during that evening, having also acquired two torches from the acquaintance.

Thursday 22 February: Police have alleged they can place the accused leaving the Bungonia area again at 4.30am. "It would appear that the accused has remained in the city area, still in control of the white Hiace van, before attending a further acquaintance's premises in the Newcastle area and without fully disclosing any criminality, asked access to a hose to clean that van," Hudson said.

Friday 23 February: At 10.39am, Lamarre-Condon presents himself at Bondi Police Station where he was arrested and subsequently charged.

This one is heading most news websites in Sydney tonight.

And a serving Police officer who once dated one of the 2 missing men is now a POI and being "sought" by police, but they can't find him.

Police officer person of interest in hunt for missing TV star Jesse Baird and boyfriend Luke Davies

A serving police officer, who once dated one of two men missing from a blood-soaked Paddington terrace, is being sought by police. They hold grave fears for former TV presenter Jesse Baird and his flight attendant boyfriend Luke Davies.

'Police hold "grave concerns" for a missing flight attendant and his former TV presenter partner after blood was found at a Sydney home and on property in a skip bin.

Officers located items belonging to Luke Davies, 29, and his partner, ex-Ten presenter Jesse Baird, 26, in the bin outside Club Cronulla on Wilbar Avenue at Cronulla about 11am yesterday.

A worker at the club found the items - including a phone, credit card, clothes and keys - inside the bin and contacted police.

Investigators then attended a home at Brown Street in Paddington, where officers "immediately" established a crime scene after finding blood at the home.

Police went to Davies' home in Waterloo, but he has not been located.

Both men have been declared missing and the disappearances are being treated as suspicious.
...
Davies is described as being between 170cm to 175cm tall and having a medium build, brown hair and brown eyes.
Baird is described as being 180cm to 185cm tall with a muscular build, brown hair and brown eyes.
Both are Caucasian in appearance and it's not known what either was wearing at the time they were last seen.

Police are appealing for anyone with information about Baird or Davies' whereabouts – or who may have information relevant to the investigation – to contact Waverley Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.'

....
Mr Baird, a red carpet reporter on Studio Ten until late last year, has been dating Mr Davies for several months, with the pair posting loved up photos on their social media accounts.

Prior to his current relationship, Mr Baird dated Constable Lamarre, who is understood to be on sick leave this week.
...
The investigation began on Wednesday morning, when a greenkeeper at a bowling club in Cronulla found a pile of bloodied clothes in a skip, and called police.

Among the clothing was a credit card belonging to Mr Davies, an $8000 watch and some personal items linked to Mr Baird.

Officers rushed to the Paddington terrace of Mr Baird, where they found large amounts of blood and broken furniture, and immediately declared it a crime scene, with grave concerns for both men.

The Daily Telegraph has been told blood had seeped through the floorboards of the two-storey terrace, and obvious attempts had been made to clean it.

Detectives spent more than 24 hours at the Brown St residence, carrying out furniture with blood splatters and wrapping it up as evidence, while officers continued searching for the two men, including at the Waterloo unit rented by Mr Davies. It was empty.

Police confirmed Mr Baird’s mobile phone was active on Tuesday night, when text messages were sent to friends and his social media accounts were used. That led police to think Mr Baird was alive, and that possibly Mr Davies had met with foul play, given the amount of blood found.

But on Thursday afternoon, detectives received information from the relatives of Mr Baird that he had been in a bitter break-up with the Constable Lamarre, prompting police to widen their search.

It’s understood the family also mentioned that one of the missing men was recently being stalked by an unknown person

“We are looking at all of their former partners … there is a police officer we want to speak to, yes, but he’s one of many we want to speak to at this early stage” a police source said.

Constable Lamarre joined the police force in 2019.

...
Detective Superintendent Jodi Radmore said officers canvassing the neighbourhood were told about a shouting argument on Monday morning. She said the fight wasn’t reported to police at the time, but it is now a crucial part of the investigation.
...
Friends told The Daily Telegraph that Mr Baird had recently talked about fearing for his safety.

“I’m so scared for his wellbeing,” a friend said last night. “He used the word stalker”

They're looking for three now and the police can't find one of their own? :(

Does this look like one has broken up with the police officer who may have taken a jealous revenge and probably has the know-how to get the best of two of them?
The POI NSW Police Officer could have gone into hiding purely for fear of being pinged for his (alleged) stalking of Baird, and has nothing to do with the 2 lads going missing.

NSW Police Officer should know better than to go in to hiding, this looks like a possible double murder investigation.

Given the description of the crime scene, there should be plenty of DNA to prove one way or another.
