Nab Challenge: WESTERN BULLDOGS v ST KILDA @ Simonds

Watching the game today and Spud and Frawely trying to think of a nick name for Acres. Shady Acres and Green Acres are terrible name suggested HAHA. Anyone else got better.?

I love Macrae, looks an absolute jet in the making.

Stringer too.

If those two come on, and so does Bontempelli, the Dogs are going to have a very serious midfield unit. Great range of styles through there too.

And I stand by that comment, the lopsided umpiring in the first quarter helped the Bulldogs jump out to a 5 goal lead and then we got back into the contest when the umpires gave us a fair go.

Maybe you should be directing your condescending derision for the morons in this thread who said we were hopeless with no good youngsters after the first quarter and then vanished when we fought back to win the last 3 quarters with our youngsters like Wright, Webster, Curren, Templeton and Hickey leading the way..

But why are you so mad?

We played one quarter and cruised*

*who gives a *, apart from you, it's nab cup.

I thought Wallis was taken ahead of Libba.

He was. Libba has always been better at AFL level due to his elite inside game. His outside game is getting better too, barely misses a target which is rare for an inside type.

Wallis will be a best 22 player and a solid player but not a star. Has no great strengths or weaknesses to his game but can rack the numbers up.

I reckon he will be a bit better than a solid player, his 2nd year was great, a bit lost last year but we were trying to develop his outside game which doesn't come very naturally to him. Does his best work on the bottom of packs and will be a great Boyd replacement for years to come.
