Hi Bay,
Looking through the award stats of some high profile players (hai NicNat), it's glaringly obvious that for some players their official accolades list is looking a little thin.
The poor unfortunate people who have chosen a career as an AFL player clearly need more ego-boosting given they are young, fit, get paid well to do something they love but have to occasionally fly for work unlike anyone else on the planet.
How else but with "extra" club awards? These will have to be named after past or current players of course, because "tribute"
e.g. West Coast can offer a Daniel Kerr
award for Fire Safety.
The Western Bulldogs Tom Liberatore award for services to international grassroots football.
Who else should be honoured?
