Report on Port

Could someone give a report on the Port game please.

I watched the entire match. It was a very easy win.

Jeremy Clayton was by far our best. He looked a completely different player to the one at the MCG last week. He was everywhere, kicked 3 or 4 & took many marks, some of them contested.

Teague also played well, but was on the bench for practically the entire last quarter.

I was impressed with Firrito. Very versatile & quick for his size.

Alleway was also pretty good at full-forward. Gill was pretty good at full-back. We definitely have some good rookie list players this year!!!

The only other draftees to play were Grima, who was rather quiet & Urch who didn't get much of the ball, but definitely made his presence felt with some of his contesting.

Hale, Watson & Motlop were ok, but didn't do enough. Corey Jones was pretty good without starring.

Dylan Smith, McIntosh, Shore, Perry & Crowe didn't play.

Teague was probably rested for next week? And the others, did they play for port 2's? if so then they will most likely be looking for new clubs next year.
