A big day for former Power and Redlegs star Roger James yesterday in Hills Country league footy. The 34-year old booted a lazy 23 goals for Kersbrook against hapless Callington.

In an astonishing display, Kersbrook returned 80.22 (502) to Callington’s 1.1 (7).

We played them last week in the pouring rain and beat them by 30 so I knew they were in trouble..... but not that much trouble. Apparently they had about 10 or so B graders back up in the A's too which never helps. Now id be surprised to see them last another week. Good effort by Roger, but he fell 2 short of the league record.... needed to be more greedy perhaps ??

I wouldn't be suprised if Callington folded at the end of the year, in one B-grade game I saw they had at least 2 15 year old kids playing for them and they had 8 players in there junior colts team.
