BYP - Swimming upstream here by the looks. Lucas 19 disposals, 9 contested possessions, 90% DE. Some missed tackles but he wasn't alone. If The_Wookie would be so kind as to put up the play where Grigg had him dead to rights and he shrugged him off like he was nothing, that would be sweet.

Cant believe people are mentioning Hampson.... yes he marked well but his kicking was atrocious. He could have been a match winner but he let the club down for the umpteenth time in 7 years.

He was very accurate last year before getting injured. His marking showed signs but there were still questions. He looked like marking everything in that last quarter. He deserves the praise and encouragement on that alone. 4 contested marks from 8 is no mean feat and he could have pulled down more. He was scary. Yeah he lost confidence in his goalkicking but it isn't as though he can't kick.

1. Hammer - presented really well but he is 25 now, needs a cool head. His goal came when the game was not 'hot'. It worries me that as the pressure goes up, productivity goes down. Could be anything if he can just conquer this.

BYP - Lucas/Boots were both good for mine (half-point each?) both need to play.

Missed Laids terribly imo. He is that cool head that Duigs isn't atm.
