We need to get our confidence up early tomorrow night or I feel it could get ugly as heads well hang low. Really hope that Sicily plays with urgency and creativity and leads Braveheart style.

It went straight back because there was no pressure anywhere on the ground, not due to the lack of smalls.

When your Half-forwards play as on-ballers (or taggers); &, the opposition half-backs hold their position, you've created a 4-on-6 every time you go inside F50m. Hence, the opposition disrupts every forward entry & rebounds at speed.

Our midfield needs to battle on its own terms or we're toast - again (& will be every week).

Playing Moore (HFF) as a mid & Finn (other HFF) as a tagger absolutely kills us - especially when we don't have a KPF (Lewis out).

I dont mind that we did it for a week, so long as we learn from it.

Yep. If we push numbers into the midfield we need the mids to use the ball short and laterally, which goes against the direct and fast approach we saw last year and at times last week. We finally corrected this in the last quarter. It wasn’t as exciting or fluid but at least we weren’t bleeding goals on turnover to their half backs over and over.
