Some great battles between McPharlin and Franklin, Smith and Ballantyne, Richards and Pavlich though. Really even battles. McPharlin had Bud in the first half and then a great 3rd quarter from Franklin swung the game well and truly in our favour. Smith beat Ballantyne for much of the game but he still kicked 2 and Pavlich won the battle but Ted won some hugely important one on ones in the first and last quarter in particular. Some really high quality battles between defender and forward in this game. Harry Cunningham did a decent job on Stephen Hill too.
