Alright conspiracy theorists, let's hear your best stuff!

We all know that Gil is the equivalent of Jack from Jack and the Beanstalk when it comes to brokering deals. There's been the 'Melbourne didn't tank so we're going to fine them and ban Dean Bailey' deal, then the classic 'Hird is being suspended and in return we'll make sure he's paid and can go on a junket to France'. There's also the strange scenario's of Dean Robinson lobbing at a Big4 accounting firm with no experience, and the other faces of the saga that suddenly went quiet too, landing plum jobs at the AFL. One can't help but feel that Gil's fingerprints are all over these.

He seems to have a history of getting the deal done - but withholding the actual cost from the footy public. Well, withholding it in most cases.

Gil seems to be the kind of guy you want to be dealing with. As long as he gets what he wants - he'll offer all kinds of crazy s**t in return to get it! The kind of kid that goes to school with all his rare footy cards, and comes home with a Joe Daniher card and a sandwich bag full of pubes.

So what about this Rupert deal? What on earth has he promised him?

Does it have anything to do with the Hird 'resignation'? Does it have anything to with 'the saga'? And when will we see the 'Hird is actually still being paid' moment?
